07/18/15 St. Johns, Can. – 16 Year Old Woman And 19 Year Old Man Charged With Stealing a RCMP Police Vehicle – Ongoing Investigation

Members of the RCMP continue to investigate an incident involving a stolen police vehicle in the St. John’s area.

Around 11:15 a.m. Friday, Royal Newfoundland Constabulary officers were called to the East White Hills area of the city where an RCMP vehicle was reported stolen.

Officers eventually located the vehicle and charged a 19-year old man and a 16-year old young woman with possession of stolen property.

The man was held for court while the young woman was released.

The vehicle was stolen in RCMP jurisdiction, and the RCMP investigation into the incident is ongoing.
