07/10/18 Inez, KY – Inmate Overpowers Martin County Deputy While Handcuffed And Steals The Deputy Jailer’s Marked Vehicle – Escaped – BOLO

An inmate escapes and steals a car from the Martin County Jail after an attempt from officials to transport him on Monday night.

Police say Mark Allen Crouch escaped from custody by overpowering a deputy jailer and stealing the transport vehicle.

Crouch is approximately 6’2 and was last seen wearing shorts, a hat and glasses.

Officials say Crouch also goes by Mark Mills.

Officials at the Martin County Jail say that Crouch was initially arrested for multiple warrants, including burglary and criminal mischief.

Crouch is considered highly dangerous.

The sheriff says that anyone helping or aiding Crouch will be prosecuted.
