3/5/18 – Albany, GA – Two People Shot At Nightclub (Murder Scene) – Albany Police Car Stolen From Crime Scene – Suspect Escaped

Albany Police Department is investigating a murder and a stolen police car from Saturday morning.

Around 3 a.m., APD started to investigate a homicide on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue.

Albany police report security cleared Legends Night Club after a dispute happened inside the club. When people were walking to their cars, an unidentified person shot two other people.

Jack Carlton Williams III, 31, was killed. Shekimbre King, 27, was shot in the arm.

While on the scene, an someone stole an APD 2010 White Ford Fusion. The tag number is GV4433A.

The suspects for both incidents are still unknown.
