The woman is Simona Herrera, aka Maria Herrera, is believed to be connected with escape, felony flight, vehicle theft and aggravated assault on a Federal Agent.
Herrera is described as a Hispanic female, 26, five feet, five inches tall and approximately 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
She has a large butterfly tattoo on the right side of the neck.
U.S. Marshals has detained Herrera for an arrest warrant and while she was in the back seat of the agents' car she somehow managed to get control of the vehicle and take off.
A federal agent was injured during her escape and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
After crashing the car Herrera fled on foot.
A search by the Yuma County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Marshals Service, Yuma Police Department, U.S. Border Patrol and FBI agents ended without the suspect in custody.
