Washington D.C. - Police Find Vehicle of Shot Federal Officer

WASHINGTON - D.C. police have found the truck of the federal officer who was shot Friday night while pumping gas at a Citgo station on Kennilworth Avenue. The truck was located behind an apartment complex in the 4900 block of Meade Street in Northeast after police say two juveniles shot the officer and stole his vehicle and gun. No arrests have been made in the case, but police have said they believe the carjackers to still be near the gas station or in Maryland. The officer, who is assigned to protect Housing and Urban Development Secretary Alphonso Jackson, is still hospitalized. His identity has still not been released.
