Valdosta police recover stolen cruiser

Valdosta - Police in Valdosta have just recovered a patrol car stolen from a body shop Wednesday morning and are now searching for whoever took it.

Police say the cruiser was stolen from John's Body Shop off East Hill Avenue. The car was there being repaired.

It was found abandoned off Rocky Ford Road in Lowndes County around 4:30 Friday afternoon.

They say equipment is missing from the car, and detective are on scene taking inventory.
