Theft Suspect Steals Stow, Ohio Police Cruiser After Arrest

STOW, Ohio -- Stow police say that a robbery suspect stole a police cruiser after being arrested Tuesday, reported NewsChannel5.
Police arrested 32-year-old Farin Lee Beach in Kent, who was suspected of stealing a stereo from a Kmart on Kent Road.
Beach was put in the back seat of the cruiser while officers questioned the other occupants of the vehicle in which Beach was riding at the time of the arrest. Moments later, Officer Jamie Dawson noticed Beach driving off in the cruiser.
Kent police pursued Beach, but lost sight of him. The cruiser was later found parked on a Kent street. It was intact and no equipment was missing.
Police later arrested Beach. Kent police charged him with two counts of felony theft and one count of having a weapon under disability.
Stow police charged him with one count of theft for the shoplifting allegation.
