Stoughton officer shoots at stolen patrol car
STOUGHTON (AP) - A man who says he was nearly hit
by bullets has filed a complaint against a police officer
who shot at his own patrol car after it was stolen near a
loud party the officer was attempting to disperse, officials
said.
John Chisholm, 21, said he was sitting on a lawn with
about 100 other people at the party when police arrived
at around 11:45 p.m. Friday.
Chisholm said he left the party with his girlfriend when
police arrived. They were walking down the street when
the patrol car passed them and bullets followed, Chisholm
said.
