Patrol Car Stolen Outside Bar

The car was stolen from the parking lot of a Stafford
bar. The officer says he went inside to find friends
of a man who was passed out in the parking lot. When
he returned outside, the man and his squad car were
gone. Stafford police say there were no weapons inside
the vehicle.

Police recovered the car around 8:30 am on Bissonnet 
near Wilcrest in southwest Houston. There was no 
damage, and nothing was stolen. The joyrider even left 
the officer's cell phone on the front seat. The search is
on now for the suspects.
