Selma, CA suspect steals Police Car – Drives at Officers – Suspect shot – Police Car Crashed
May 14, 2005 — Police in Selma are trying figure out how a man managed to steal a police car.
It happened shortly after officers were called to an alley near Rose and Cleveland for a disturbance.
As they interviewed some people in the alley, one man slipped past officers and jumped into a patrol car, driving right toward the officers.
One of the officers fired at least two shots at the suspect and hit him in the arm.
But, the suspect kept driving, all the way to Mendocino and Dinuba before he crashed the patrol car.
He tried to run, but police arrested him at a nearby house.
