Rocky River, OH - Career Criminal Accused of Stealing Police Cruiser Held on $1M Cash Bond
Rocky River, OH - The man accused of taking a joyride in a police cruiser
with his underage girlfriend went before a judge Monday morning.
Frankie Molina faces a slew of charges - including vandalism, disrupting public
service, grand theft of a motor vehicle, and felony fleeing.
He also faces numerous traffic and misdemeanor charges, including OVI and
driving under a suspended license.
This, after police tried to stop the 33-year-old and his 15-year-old lover for
speeding.
Instead, Molina drove into a ditch, stole a police cruise, dumped it in a
field and fled on foot.
Molina was apprehended after being tasered and bitten by a K-9.
The teen was released to her parents and faces her own charges.
She'll will be filed in Juvenile Court on charges of disorderly
conduct-persisting, underage consumption of alcohol, resisting arrest,
obstructing official business, and curfew.
The teen was not involved in the theft of the police cruiser.
Molina's arraignment was pushed back to October 9th since he did not have an
attorney present.
The judge ordered the career criminal be held on a $1M dollar cash bond.
