If an unmarked police car tries to pull you over in Prince William
County, be on your guard.

Authorities say someone stole a Fairfax County Police Department
cruiser that was parked on a Manassas street.

The 1997 Ford Taurus is medium blue with Virginia license plate
ZGC-8702. It is equipped with a police radio and a blue bubble
light on the inside dashboard.

Police advise the public to be cautious if an unmarked police
vehicle of this description tries to stop you. The Prince William
Police Department does not have any Ford Taurus vehicles in its fleet.
If an unmarked vehicle attempts to stop you, you may continue to drive
at or just below the speed limit to a well-populated area before
stopping, or you may drive to a fire or police station before stopping.

If you see this vehicle authorities ask that you contact them.
