ST. PETERSBURG - A Pinellas County sheriff's deputy's unmarked car was
recovered Sunday after it was stolen from her home the night before.
The 1999 silver Ford Taurus, which was stolen sometime after 7 p.m.
Saturday, showed evidence of tampering on the driver's door and on the ignition.
Also, Deputy Angela Cole's radio and .45-caliber Glock pistol were missing,
the sheriff's office said.
A St. Petersburg police officer found the vehicle in the 1100 block of 22nd St.
S. while on patrol about 1 p.m. Sunday.
