ST. PETERSBURG - A Pinellas County sheriff's deputy's unmarked car was recovered Sunday after it was stolen from her home the night before.

The 1999 silver Ford Taurus, which was stolen sometime after 7 p.m. Saturday, showed evidence of tampering on the driver's door and on the ignition. Also, Deputy Angela Cole's radio and .45-caliber Glock pistol were missing, the sheriff's office said.

A St. Petersburg police officer found the vehicle in the 1100 block of 22nd St. S. while on patrol about 1 p.m. Sunday.
