A 46-year-old man was detained Thursday night after he tried to steal a Phoenix police vehicle on 24th Street near Harrison Street, according to Phoenix Police.

Police said Robert Harrington is suspected of trying to steal an officer's vehicle in a parking lot after engaging in suspicious activity.
