Authorities say an individual performing community service as part of a summary citation stole an unmarked police vehicle and crashed it Tuesday morning in North Philadelphia.

The crash occurred at Fifth Street and Hunting Park Avenue after the vehicle was reported taken from Front Street and Hunting Park.

SkyFox over the crash scene showed accident investigation detectives at work.

At this time, authorities said the person performing the community service and involved in the crash has not been apprehended.
