Pembine, WI - Suicidal Man Struggled With Marinette County Deputy - Showed Gun - Steals Squad Car - Runs Off Road

Man arrested after struggle with deputy

A Marinette County man was taken to jail Monday afternoon after officials say he struggled with a deputy, showed a gun and then got away in a squad car.

Deputies were dispatched to his house because of claims he was suicidal.

Officials say the suspect, a 40 year old Pembine man, traveled a distance in the squad car, in the area of Highway 8 and Highway 141. He lost control of the car, went off the road, came back on the road and was then stopped by the officers.

The suspect wasn't injured, but a deputy did injure his thumb during the arrest.
