Ohio Woman Sentenced After Stealing Police Car at Knife Point

A woman who stole a Youngstown police car at knife-point is heading to prison.

Twenty-four year old Kimberly Kalasky pleaded guilty to robbery, assault and failure to comply with a police officer.

She used a knife to force an officer out of his cruiser. Kalasky then led police on a chase on I-680 out to I-76.

She tearfully apologized and admitted she struggles with drug and mental problems.

Although the prosecutor was recommending a sentence of four-and-a-half years, Judge Scott Krichbaum slapped Kalasky with a six year term
