Suspect steals Norton, Va. Police Car, leads
high-speed chase into Kentucky

Kentucky State Police used stingers to derail a high speed chase that
began in Wise County Virginia.
Officers responded to a call from Virginia state troopers around 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, Hazard County, Ky. police said.
Virginia State Police were in pursuit of a male suspect at a high rate of speed.
He headed toward Jenkins, Kentucky on Highway 23, police said.
The suspect, Willie Little, was driving one of Norton Police Department's
2005 Crown Victoria cruisers, police said.
Kentucky State Police deployed stingers. They deflated both passenger side
tires, police said. The suspect then tried to hit a trooper, Jenkins police
deployed more stingers, and the suspect crashed, police said.
Police arrested Little, charged him with attempted murder, wanton
endangerment, and several drug charges from the Virginia State Police.
Wise County Sheriffs said they will release more information today.
