Suspected beer thief makes off with
deputy's car

Police could not find the suspect. A beer theft suspect is on the run after
allegedly jumping into a Montgomery County deputy's car and taking it for a
spin.
Investigators said he stole beer from a Cut-and-Shoot convenience store.
During his arrest, he somehow got into the driver's seat with his handcuffs on
and drive the car away.
He led police all the way to Willis, where he hit another patrol car.
Then officers said he bailed out.
Deputies searched the area with tracking dogs but found nothing.
