Minden, LA - Police Officer Shot Twice - Suspect Steals Police Car - Crashes - Suspect Shot Dead

An early morning shooting in Webster Parish leaves one man dead and a police officer wounded. It all started when Minden Police received a phone call from a man saying 45- year old Kenneth Trice Jr. was trying to kill him.  Moments later, police say Trice walked over to another house where he demanded his relatives, who were inside the home, to give him their car. When they resisted, he shot a hole in the ceiling.
After taking the vehicle, Trice led Minden Police on a chase down Highway 80 into Dixie Inn.
When Trice stopped, he got out of the vehicle and began shooting at officers striking one in the leg and arm.$storyimg.title
