MIAMI, Updated 7:10 a.m. EDT August 21, 2000-- A
car thief stole a police cruiser on Monday morning.
A chase ensued taking officers
down the Golden Glades
Interchange where the thief
then got into an accident.
At one point the suspect shot
at officers and missed. No one
was hurt in the incident and
the man is now in custody.
