Police Patrol Car Stolen From Gas Station
MIAMI (CBS4) ―
Miami-Dade Police had to search for one of their own overnight after a patrol
car was stolen from a gas station at 6120 NW 27th Avenue. The police car was
stolen between 10:40 p.m. and 10:57 p.m. and eventually recovered Saturday
morning.
According to Miami-Dade police, the vehicle that was stolen had two laptop
computer, an electronic control device, two bulletproof vests, one Smith &
Wesson .38 caliber revolver and one Smith & Wesson .38 caliber revolver with a 2
inch barrel inside.
All of the equipment was found inside the car when it recovered Saturday at the
intersection of NW 207 Street and 41 Avenue. Police have not said where the
officer assigned to the car was when it was stolen from the gas station
