Melvindale police are searching for a stolen undercover police car.

An officer's Melvindale police badge and vest were inside the vehicle, which was stolen Thursday afternoon in the area of Interstate 94 and Outer Drive, Local 4 reported. Police said no weapons were inside the vehicle.

The vehicle is silver, with a gray top, and has the Michigan license plate No. 141AED.
