Police: Teen admits breaking into police car, three other vehicles

(WHAS11) - Police say an 18-year-old Louisville man stole a Metro Police car.

Authorities say Christian Lopes admitted to stealing that car and breaking into three others.

Police spotted Lopes driving one of their vehicles and tried to stop him. Authorities say Lopes ran, along with another person before he was caught.

It’s unclear if Lopes' accomplice was caught.
