Unmarked Police Car Stolen in Kenner, LA

Kenner police are searching for a stolen St. Charles Parish unmarked police car that has weapons in the trunk.
According to officials, the car, a dark blue 1998 Ford Taurus with tinted windows, disappeared, Monday.
Police say a shotgun and a rifle were in the trunk.
As of now, there are no suspects, but officials said whoever stole the car may have taken a pickup truck in New Orleans, driven it to Kenner, dropped it off near the police car, and then stolen the police car.
Anyone with information on the missing vehicle is asked to call the Kenner police.
