Indianapolis police detective's unmarked squad car stolen from home



Police are searching for the thief who stole an unmarked Indianapolis Metropolitan Police squad car from in front of an officer’s home.

Officer William J. Cincebox left the vehicle unlocked with the key inside, according to a police report.

Cincebox, a robbery detective, reported the black 2004 Dodge Intrepid missing from in front of his Beech Grove home at 4:09 a.m. this morning.

Cincebox reported that his protective vest, Taser, checkbook and passport were inside the vehicle.
