Police Continue Search For Escaped Juvenile

Two brick masons have told police that they saw and spoke to two missing teen
inmates on the day they allegedly overpowered an officer and forced her out of
the car they were in on the Bluegrass Parkway.
Police say the two inmates, Amber Tucker, 17, and Brandi Murrah, 16, were being
take from Warren County to the Morehead Youth Development Center Tuesday morning
when one of them faked an illness. When the Department of Juvenile Justice
transport officer checked on her, both inmates then allegedly overpowered the
officer and forced her to stop and exit the car. They then stole the car and
left eastbound toward Lexington on the Bluegrass Parkway.
The Blue 2005 Ford Crown Victoria that the teens allegedly stole was located
that night by the Harrodsburg Police Department, but there was no sign of Tucker
or Murrah.
The brick masons say they were working on a job in Harrodsburg on Tuesday
afternoon when two teens matching the inmates' descriptions approached them,
claiming that they were stepsisters who were lost. They say that one of the
girls did not have any shoes on.
The men say the girls then had them give directions to where they were to
someone they claimed was their sister on a cell phone.
Police are continuing to search for the pair in the Brentwood subdivision of
Harrodsburg.
Tucker is a white female, 5'6", approximately 109 lbs. with brown hair and blue
eyes. Murrah 16 is a white female, 5'2", approximately 118 lbs. with brown hair
and blue eyes.
