Man Carjacks Sheriff's Deputy

Harris County, Texas - A sheriff's deputy was treated for injuries at
a local hospital after his patrol car was carjacked.
The incident occurred when 22-year-old Johnny Lewis Green approached
Deputy James Walker's patrol car and asked for a ride home.
The deputy rolled down the passenger window to tell the man that he
could not take him home. As he did, the suspect managed to climb
into the patrol car.
A struggle ensued, and the deputy was dragged out of the car. The
suspect took off in the patrol car.
The deputy called for help on his radio and authorities were able to
stop the suspect.
This was not Green's first brush with the law. He as a history of
drug and assault convictions.
