Hamilton County sheriff's deputies are looking for a woman who stole a police cruiser on Friday morning.
Investigators said a deputy pulled Candice G. Brown over on Ancor Road shortly after 11 a.m because her car had a stolen plate on it. While questioning her, the deputy put Brown in the back of his cruiser without handcuffs and then went to her car to inspect it.
Witnesses said Brown crawled through the barrier separating the front and back seats, then started to drive off in the cruiser.
The deputy fired a Taser gun at Brown and hit her, causing her to slam the cruiser into two cars.
But witnesses said Brown pulled away in the damaged cruiser and left the deputy behind.
The cruiser was found in a Byway parking lot on Broadwell Road a short time later, and deputies said Brown got a ride from a worker to State Route 32 and Mount Carmel Road in Clermont County.
Deputies are still looking for Brown, who was described as white, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, with short blonde hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a blue denim dress. She is also known to go by the name Candy Gail Forsee.
Brown is wanted on several felony warrants.
Anyone with information about Brown is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 352-3040 or the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
