HAMILTON (AM900 CHML) - Someone may be driving around in a stolen unmarked
police car.
Officers in Hamilton and Halton are on the lookout for a cruiser, that has
been taken from a neighbourhood in Dundas.
It belongs to a Halton detective who parked it there sometime between 6-o'clock
last night and 6-o'clock this morning.
It's a 4-door, grey 2004 Buick Century with the licence plate AVYS 120.
Equipment inside the vehicle includes a 40 calibre postil, expandable baton,
pepper spray, handcuffs and body armour.
Halton Police Sergeant Peter Payne adds that the vehicle is on temporary loan
and therefore does not have a tracking device.
