Garden City, MI - Police Car Stolen from Restaurant While Officers are Eating Lunch

 

 

Information sought about stolen police car


An unmarked Garden City police car was stolen Thursday from outside a Westland restaurant.

Police are trying to locate the 2000 Dodge Intrepid that was being used as a plainclothes investigative unit. The car is described as a light blue four-door with license plate 3JGU82.

Four investigators were having lunch at the Ram’s Horn Restaurant, 8590 Middlebelt north of Joy in Westland at around noon. When the officers, who were seated out of view of the vehicle, left the restaurant the car was gone.
