Stolen Police Car

East Bank, WV, Feb. 10 - A Kanawha County woman
faces numerous charges after allegedly slipping from
her handcuffs and stealing a police cruiser. Sunday night,
East Bank police arrested 31-year old Linda McElroy of
Marmet on a domestic battery charge. McElroy was left
in the back of the cruiser and allegedly slipped out
of the handcuffs, crawled to the front of the vehicle
and sped off.
Police caught up with her about an hour later in Marmet.
Police say one of the most serious charges filed against
McElroy is grand larceny.
