Delhi, OH - Woman on Crack Crashes - Steals Police Car - Chase from OH to KY - Crashes Police Car
A car chase that involved two states and a stolen police car ended with a
woman behind bars this morning.
Kristen Hetzer is now here sitting behind bars at the Kenton County jail after
being accused of stealing a police car and leading officers on a chase.

It began in Delhi just before 2 a.m. Sunday morning, where police pulled her
over on suspicion of driving drunk.
Police say she took off, beginning the first chase that ended with her crashing
along River Road.
She tried to run but police caught up with her and said she had crack cocaine on
her.
At that point she was handcuffed and put in the back of squad car, but that
didn't last long.
Police say Hetzer was able to get a hand out of the cuffs and then hop into the
driver seat of the squad car, and once again, took off.
She drove south on I-75 and eventually into Kentucky where officers there joined
in.
It was at the Kyles Lane exit where the 20-year-old woman got off the
interstate, then tried to head north, but as she looped around she crashed
once again.
This time, she didn't get away from police.
She faces several charges in both Ohio and Kentucky, including resisting arrest
and auto theft.
Hetzer is set to be in court Monday morning.
