Decision delayed in fatal stolen police car case

A judge won't decide until October whether
to bind Michael Koroi over to Wayne County
Circuit Court on felony charges of fleeing
police resulting in a fatality and driving
away in a police car.
A preliminary exam in Dearborn's 19th
District Court originally scheduled for July
25 was on Friday adjourned until Oct. 24 to
give attorneys more time to prepare.
Koroi was fleeing Dearborn police July 19
when one of the officers chasing him collided
with a car driven by DaLon Gunn, 24, of Detroit.
Gunn was killed. No charges were filed against
the officer.
