Man Tried To Drive Off In Cruiser After Arrest, Deputies Say

COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa -- Pottawattamie County deputies said they used a Taser
to subdue a man who tried to escape from a police cruiser.
Deputies arrested Tony Kimball, 32, while serving a warrant at a home at Fifth
Avenue and Tenth Street. They said they handcuffed Kimball and put him in the
car.
The deputies said they were outside the cruiser when they noticed Kimball had
moved to the front seat and was trying to start the car.
They said they pulled Kimball out of the cruiser and used the Taser when he
tried to run.
Officers took Kimball to a hospital for tests.
There’s no immediate word on charges in the case.
