Police were searching for a woman who they said stole an unmarked car early Monday on the west side. An undercover officer was attempting to arrest the woman for prostitution when she gained control of the vehicle, 10TV's Tino Ramos reported. The incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. near Sullivant and Martin avenues. According to police, the woman jumped in the driver's seat of the officer's vehicle and drove away. The officer was slightly injured when he attempted to get the woman out of the vehicle, Ramos reported. His cell phone and a couple of police radios were inside the vehicle, police said. The woman struck another vehicle but continued driving. Police said that they were searching for a 2005 gray Ford Taurus. A specific description of the woman was not immediately available.
