Suspect Steals Police Cruiser After
Domestic Dispute

The police have the suspect in custody.

CLARKSBURG -- Clarksburg Police responded to a domestic dispute call in the
Northview area of Clarksburg around 7:00 Sunday evening.
Police arrested Clinton Deem, 19, on scene of the domestic. Police say, they
cuffed him and put him in the back seat of a police cruiser.
Police say, somehow Deem managed to get his cuffed hands in front of his
body, get in the driver's seat of the police car and take off.
Deem drove the police car down Pride Avenue and turned onto North 20th
street.
Police say along the way he hit a telephone pole, stop sign, a parked car,
and drove through a front lawn.
Eventually, police caught Deem and arrested him again.
Neighbors say they were shocked by the events.
Police say Deem faces a host of charges including domestic dispute, fleeing and
D-U-I.
