Chicago, IL - Southside Teenager Beats Female Police Officer And Steals Her SUV - Crashes

A South Side teenager allegedly told authorities he stole an off-duty female
police officer's SUV Sunday after beating her because he was "very cold" and
"didn't want to walk home."
George E. Floyd, 17, was charged with vehicular hijacking, aggravated battery to
a peace officer, and aggravated fleeing.
The 39-year-old officer had just parked in the 1500 block of East 86th when
Floyd allegedly punched and threw her down. Authorities said he was caught
after he crashed her SUV in the 8800 block of South Houston.
Assistant Public Defender Dan Walsh said police were "lying" about Floyd
