Chattanooga, TN - Police Patrol Car Stolen in Front of Chili's Restaurant - Patrol Car Vandalized

At 11:45 pm Tuesday, a Chattanooga Police Patrol Car was stolen from the Chili’s Restaurant at 5637 Brainerd Road. The officer was working an off-duty job at the restaurant and was busy inside dealing with an incident. After the
situation inside was resolved, the officer went back outside and saw his
car was gone. It was found a time later at Tacoa Avenue and Brainerd Road.
The car had been vandalized and is now being processed by investigators.
Sergeant Rick Mincy says, "The incident is being actively investigated." He says
it is unclear whether or not the keys were left in the car or not.
