01/17/10 / British Columbia NewsBURNABY, B.C. - RCMP in the Vancouver suburb of Burnaby are on the lookout for stolen unmarked police car that’s actually a realistic-looking movie prop.
The dark blue 2005 Ford Crown Victoria disappeared from a prop-supply company yesterday afternoon.
It is equipped with a functioning siren and emergency lights.
The Mounties are warning drivers that if they’re suspicious when a similar-looking car tries to pull them over, they should keep driving at reduced speed and call 911 to confirm it’s a legitimate police car, or drive to the nearest police detachment.
