Escapes Custody and Steals Police Car 

Police continue to search for the 21-year-old man
who stole an unmarked police car on Friday.

The last time he was seen was at Gilchrist Avenue/Bowen
Bridge Road around 5.30pm on Friday. At this time he 
was not wearing the handcuffs or ankle cuffs he had
been placed in earlier. He was seen jumping out of a 
car and was wearing black shorts and wearing a black
baseball cap, and carrying a t-shirt. Police urge anyone
who may have seen the man near the Exhibition grounds, 
Bowen Hills, or earlier in the day at the shopping 
center or at the railway station to call crime
stoppers at 1-800-333-0000.
