BETHLEHEM TWP. PA. - Township police are still watching
for whoever stole a Stroud Area Regional Police car from a
police officer Tuesday near her home.
Police said Wednesday there was nothing new to report about
the investigation.
Police said Det. Susan Lyon left her soft-sided briefcase in
in the unmarked police car. The case contained a semi-automatic
handgun, a portable radio, a Stroud Area Regional police badge
and Lyon's police identification card, police said.
Attempts to reach Stroud Area Regional Police Chief Keith Carr
were not immediately successful Wednesday.
Anyone with information about the stolen car can call Bethlehem
Township police at 610-814-6428.
