BATH -- A Bath police cruiser that was stolen when a sergeant momentarily left his vehicle Tuesday evening was found abandoned in a driveway off Route 125.
Police were unable to track down the suspect but said they had some leads.
The man who took the cruiser for a joyride along Interstate 95 may have stopped at an Exxon station in Freeport to buy a candy bar before fleeing on foot, police said, and the purchase was caught on camera.
