Ashtabula County, Ohio Sheriff’s cruiser stolen, shots fired

The search continues for a man accused of trying to shoot an Ashtabula County Sheriff's Deputy.

Police say just after four Thursday morning, 39-year old Dallas Wesley Parsons opened fire on an Ashtabula County deputy, then stole his cruiser. Police say the suspect then abandoned the car and forced his way into a home, threatening the owners, then stealing their car.

Police have recovered the car that Parsons stole, it was found in Ashtabula County. Sources say he's now driving an '89 Dark Grey Cadillac. The man who came face-to-face with Parsons says it was terrifying.

Police say Parsons is about 5-foot-8, weighing about 160 pounds. They say he's considered armed and very dangerous if you see him, call 911.
