Aragon police officer assaulted, police car stolen

A woman was arrested Friday, October 16, 2009 on numerous charges including assault on a police officer. Tina Michelle Cobb, 36 of a Dallas, Ga. address was arrested after a traffic stop at Portland Road at Oakridge Road.

Aragon unit 603 (Rook) had requested back up and 911 had dispatched other units to the scene to assist. Cobb was extremely combative and actually fled the scene in Aragon 603's police cruiser, she wrecked the vehicle within just a few minutes after fleeing. One subject was hit by the car. Station 5 was dispatched to the scene.


Cobb was charged with obstruction, aggravated assault, aggravated assault on a police officer, DUI, escape, interference with government property and theft by taking (Motor Vehicle).
