Allentown, PA - Berks-Lehigh Regional Police Cruiser Stolen

Police are being tight-lipped tonight about the reported theft of a Berks-Lehigh Regional Police cruiser.
 

The car went missing just after midnight from the Haldeman Ford Dealership on Route 222 in Maxatawny Township.

It was there for service.

Chief Mike Wiser says a man and woman were spotted driving the car at a diner in Carbon County.

A witness told police the man appeared intoxicated.

Police say the car quote - "reappeared" - at the dealership around 6:30 this morning.

They say it was presumed to be stolen, but they aren't commenting further.
