Authorities say
Frederick Thomas is in trouble for more than stealing
from a store.
He's also accused of stealing a police cruiser. According to officials in Albany, Ga., Thomas hopped in a patrol car and took off as police were chasing him.
Officers had been responding to a report of a burglary at the One Stop Food Store. Police found their cruiser thanks to a tracking device installed in it.
But they didn't find their suspect. Authorities are still looking for Thomas. Police say they're also investigating whether leaving the keys in the patrol car violated department policy.
